A JOURNEY TOWARDS ACTION

Climate anxiety weighs heavily on today's youth with the daily bombardment of Climate Disasters and world leader inaction. The challenge ahead is much more complex, requiring us to step away from sensationalism and fear and look at redesigning our systems to create global citizens.

Our mission is to provide HOPE to young people. INSPIRE them with the actions of others that act on behalf of nature. We want to help these young people develop AGENCY by providing resources demonstrating avenues for ACTION they can explore within their communities.

We want to help individuals, communities, and organisations focus resources on solving LOCAL challenges one at a time and place them in a GLOBAL context so we do not lose track of the challenges ahead.

Space2Evolve (S2E) - Phase 1

S2E is a community made up of communities, with our first phase designed to test how we can connect local nature projects across the globe to inspire young people to act in their schools and the communities they live. We will raise awareness of the nature-based projects going on across the globe.

Phase 1 will see students document their local journey towards action and share this media to produce a global voice to be delivered to COP28 (30 November 2023).

Students will be able to ask experts from different fields questions on climate and nature and how they would address the problems humanity will face.

Phase 1 has the support of the BBC, Royal Horticultural Society, Rewilding Chile, Argentinian National Parks, a few sustainable corporate sponsors and most importantly, schools and local community groups.

Space2Evolve - Phase 2

We will:

  • Continue to grow our international base (initially English and Spanish languages) and resources developed by our communities to COP28 and beyond.

    • Cycle to COP28 to deliver the message connecting with more communities and projects.

    • Continue championing the sensational work undertaken by existing communities, NGOs and governments.

  • Start to develop other resources to support students and schools, such as case studies and roadmaps for completed nature projects to advice chatrooms for project proposals.

  • Become a consolidated location for schools and community groups to find project funding;

  • provide opportunities for guest speakers/organisations/businesses to share their journey on the road to an equitable future;

    • E.g. BCORP

    • Ethical Consumerism

How can you help?

With your help, we will connect students, schools and communities across the globe to join our message to world leaders at COP28.
